Step-by-Step Microswitch Replacement
Follow these steps to replace the microswitch in your Active 2.0 pressure washer:
Step 1: Remove the Pump Body Screws
Using a size X Phillips screwdriver, remove the 9 screws holding the pump body of the pressure washer. Be sure to store the screws in a secure place for reinstallation.
Step 2: Remove the Plastic Casing
Carefully remove the plastic casing from the pressure washer and set it aside for later reassembly.
Step 3: Loosen the Switch Box Screws
Locate the 2 screws securing the switch box and loosen them to remove the pump and motor construction from the unit.
Step 4: Open the Switch Box
Using a small flathead screwdriver, open the cover of the main switch box to access the terminals inside.
Step 5: Disconnect the Terminals
Remove the plastic-covered 3 terminals from the ON/OFF switch carefully to avoid damaging them.
Step 6: Release the Microswitch
Locate the U-clip on the side of the pump construction and remove it to release the microswitch from the pump.
Step 7: Disconnect the Wires
Detach the black and white wires with white terminal heads from the microswitch, leaving you with two exposed wires and a blue wire.

Reattach the plastic cover over the motor and secure it in place.
Step 15: Secure the Casing
Finally, use the size X Phillips screwdriver to reinstall the 9 screws and fasten the casing in place.
