Step-by-Step Power Switch Replacement
Follow these steps to replace the power switch in your Active 2.0 pressure washer:
Step 1: Remove the Pump Body Screws
Using a size X Phillips screwdriver, remove the 9 screws from the pump body. Keep the screws in a secure place for reinstallation.
Step 2: Remove the Plastic Casing
Carefully remove the plastic casing from the pressure washer and set it aside for later reassembly.
Step 3: Loosen the Switch Box Screws
Locate the 2 screws holding down the switch box, then loosen and remove the pump and motor construction from the unit.
Step 4: Access the Switch Box Terminals
Using a small flathead screwdriver, open the switch box covering to access the ON/OFF switch terminals inside.
Step 5: Remove the Terminals
Disconnect all the terminals from the ON/OFF switch to prepare for the replacement.
